In Taraz, the central square "Dostyk" is renamed in honor of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Nursultan Nazarbayev.

- Rename the Dostyk square of the city of Taraz to the Nurtsultan Nazarbayev square, the joint resolution of the government of the Jambyl region dated September 26, 2019 and the decision of the regional maslikhat say.
