Kassym-Jomart Tokayev met with President of the Islamic Republic of Iran Hassan Rouhani, reports the press service of the President.

The sides discussed current issues of bilateral cooperation in trade and economic, transport and logistics, and agricultural areas.

The President of Kazakhstan stressed the need to further expand ties between the countries, also strengthen cooperation with the Eurasian Economic Union.

Following the meeting, the Head of State invited Hassan Rouhani to pay an official visit to Kazakhstan.
