“The delegation of Uzbekistan, headed by Foreign Minister Abdulaziz Kamilov, will visit the United States on September 21-29, 2019, where he will take part in the 74th session of the UN General Assembly,” the Foreign Ministry press service reports.

The Uzbek delegation will also take part in a high-level event dedicated to the presentation of the Global Appeal for the Protection of Religious Freedom, the UN Summit on Climate Action, also ministerial meetings in the format “Central Asia - USA” (“C5 + 1”) and the Meeting on Interaction and Confidence-Building Measures in Asia (CICA), will hold a series of bilateral meetings with the heads of foreign delegations in New York.

In addition, the visit program provides for negotiations with US officials in Washington to discuss issues on the Uzbek-American agenda.
