A meeting of the heads of state of the CIS to hold in Ashgabat on October 11.

Preparations for the meeting of the Council of CIS Heads of State were discussed during a telephone conversation on August 29 by Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Foreign Minister of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov.

According to the official website of the Russian Foreign Ministry, among other things, the parties discussed the results of the First Caspian Economic Forum, which was held in Avaza on August 11-12.
