The Ministry of Finance has launched the electronic portal openbudget.uz.

“The main goal is to involve representatives of the general public in the public administration process, along with increasing financial literacy of the population and enhancing public control over government spending,” the ministry’s press service said in a statement.

As noted, the platform contains information on the execution of the state budget, its parameters, components and forecast indicators. The portal also provides an opportunity for citizens to determine directions for the expenditure side of local budgets.
