“On July 2, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, Abdulaziz Kamilov, received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan Nobuaki Ito, who is completing his diplomatic mission in Uzbekistan,” the Foreign Ministry’s press service reports.
As noted, during the conversation, topical aspects of the Uzbek-Japanese agenda were discussed.
"Currently, the parties are preparing for the 15th meeting of the Uzbek-Japanese and Japan-Uzbek economic cooperation committees (Tokyo, July 10) and the 3rd conference of rectors of universities of the two countries (Tashkent, July 8-9)" , follows from the message.
It is emphasized that these and other joint activities should be important stages in preparing for the upcoming visit of the President of Uzbekistan to Japan.
