This was discussed on June 18 during a meeting of the intergovernmental commission on bilateral cooperation between Belarus and Uzbekistan.
“In August 2019, the President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirzieyev, is scheduled to visit Belarus,” the press service of the Council of Ministers of Belarus reports.
Earlier it was reported that Belarus offers Uzbekistan to implement projects for the production of equipment.
Recall that President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko made an official visit to Uzbekistan on September 12-14, 2018 and held talks with President Shavkat Mirziyoyev. During the visit, 94 bilateral trade contracts for $ 259.2 million and 19 investment documents for more than $ 54 million were signed.
