Alikhan Smailov, Minister of Finance of Kazakhstan, in the framework of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, met with Singapore's Minister of Trade and Industry Ko Po Kun. The meeting discussed the development of trade, economic and investment cooperation between the two countries. In particular, attention is paid to the Agreement on free trade in services and investments between the two countries, the website of the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan reports.

“We have great potential to increase the volume of trade, this will be facilitated by the formed free trade zone. We plan to sign this agreement in autum of this year.
