In the framework of the 72nd session of the World Health Assembly, which takes place in Geneva (Switzerland), a meeting of the heads of the Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic and Belarus took place.

According to the press service of the department, at the meeting Kosmosbek Cholponbaev and Valery Malashko discussed the possibilities of bilateral cooperation in the field of oncology, cardiology, hematology, training of medical specialists from Kyrgyzstan on the basis of advanced National Centers of Belarus, exchange of experience.

In addition, the focus was on the possibility of cooperation in the field of pharmacy, since Belarus has its own production of medicines. At the end of the meeting, the parties agreed to work out an agreement on bilateral cooperation.
