The Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan and Kyrgyz Republic held the fifth round of consular discussions in the Kyrgyz capital of Bishkek, with representatives of both nations in attendance, reports the press service of MFA.
During the meeting, both sides considered furthering cooperation in order to ensure that the rights and interests of each country's citizens were protected, in addition to discussing the implementation of bilateral and multilateral treaties in both legal and consular areas.
Following the consultations, both representatives from Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan confirmed their intention to maintain regular, direct contact on consular issues.
