President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev arrived in Beijing on a working visit, the presidential press service reports.

The first international forum “One Belt, One Road”, in which Mirziyayev also took part, follows further, took place in 2017. Over 40 heads of state and government of foreign countries, international and regional organizations will take part in this summit.

“The agenda includes issues of further deepening economic cooperation, enhancing cooperation in finding new sources of long-term growth, promoting a green economy and innovation, and implementing priority infrastructure projects in the region,” the message reads.

The main events of the visit will begin on April 25. The President will meet with Chinese President Xi Jinping, leaders of several foreign countries and international institutions, also leading Chinese companies.
