The summit of the leaders of Central Asian countries has been postponed to a later date.
It was planned that the leaders of Central Asian countries will have a meeting in Tashkent, Uzbekistan on April 12. However, according to the press service of the Tajik President, the meeting has been postponed to a lter date. The reason of that is still unknown. But, according to the international experts, the reason of postponing of the second summit might be the presidential election in Kazakhstan which will be held on June 9.
Recall, it should be noted that the first summit of Central Asian leaders took place in Astana on March 15 of last year. The first President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev, the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev,the President of Kyrgyzstan Sooronbai Jeenbekov, the Head of Tajikistan Emomali Rakhmon and Chairman of the Turkmen parliament majilis Akzha Nurberdyeva participated in the summit.
