Vehicles, mineral products, finished food products and products of plant origin account for more than 70% of the total imports of Tajikistan for the two months of this year by the main import commodity groups.

According to the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Tajikistan, in particular, the share of vehicles, mineral products and products of plant origin in imports of the main commodity groups was 21.8% and 18.5% of the total.

According to the Statistics Agency of the country, the total amount of vehicle imports was about $ 50 million, which is 72.7% more than in January-February 2018.

Indicators of mineral products and products of plant origin amounted to over $ 89.1 million and $ 30.7 million, respectively.

The list of imported mineral products also includes petroleum products, cement, ore, concentrates, and coal. Of the finished food products - sausages and other meat products, sugar, fruit juices, confectionery and more.

According to the Ministry of Economic Development of the Republic, textile goods and products from them, wood, chemical products also dominate in the import of goods.
