The first ecological city of Uzbekistan to create in the Chartak district of Namangan region, reports the press service of the President.
President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev familiarized himself with the health-improving center “Chortok Resorts”, being built in Chartak district, also with the project of expanding the capacity of Chortoq mineral water LLC in the Namangan region.
“The presentation of projects on transforming Chartak into an ecological city, developing the infrastructure of medium-sized cities in cooperation with the World Bank, restructuring the center of Chartak, expanding Namangan airport, streamlining intercity bus traffic, providing employment in the framework of the program “Every family is an entrepreneur”, the message reads.
As noted, at the expense of funds of local entrepreneurs and foreign investors for the total amount of $ 25 million in a hilly area, a modern complex “Chortok Resorts” with an area of more than 15 hectares is being built.
