Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev arrived in Samarkand, reports the press service of the President.

“The head of state will get acquainted with housing, scientific and cultural facilities and economic projects that are being built in the region,” the message reads.

Also, a meeting with activists will be held in Samarkand this afternoon.

Recall that on the eve, January 10, the president’s inspection visit to the Yunusabad district of Tashkent was completed. During the trip, he visited the Department of Internal Affairs No. 7 of the Yunusabad District.
