Armenian acting Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan commented on the January 7 murder during a mass brawl in Karagandy, Kazakhstan.
He expressed condolences to the relatives of the deceased and called on the Armenian media to disseminate information "only after thorough verification".
“I was informed, the conflicting parties were not mono-ethnic. Among the conflicting parties that initiated the fight was an ethnic Kazakh. So, there could not be a national motive”, - noted Nikol Pashinyan.
Moreover, before this, Foreign Minister of Armenia Shavarsh Kocharyan stated that the Armenian Embassy in Kazakhstan on January 3 issued a statement urging citizens to use official sources and not distribute unverified information.
Recall, on the night of January 1, a conflict occurred in one of the restaurants in Karaganda, which turned into a group fight, which resulted in the death of one person. Three more received various knife wounds.
In addition, on January 6, hundreds of people gathered in the center of Karagandy. They demanded explanations from the authorities in connection with the recent murder at a local restaurant.
