According to the Committee on Statistics of the Ministry of National Economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan, in November 2018, inflation amounted to 0.9%, from the beginning of the year - 4.6% (in January-November 2017 - 6.3%), reports the press service of the National Bank.
"Annual inflation remained at the level of 5.3% and is within the target corridor of the National Bank at the end of 2018, 5-7%. In the structure of inflation, prices in annual terms for non-food products increased by 6.5%, for food products and paid services - by 5.0% and 4.5%, respectively," the statement reads.
As noted, in November 2018, inflationary expectations of the population decreased. The quantitative assessment of the inflation expected in a year according to the results of a survey of the population was 5.3%, having formed at the level of actual inflation.
