In September of this year, after raising public sector wages, its average size in the country increased by 14%, amounting to 1 265 somoni ($ 134). The level of real wages (adjusted for inflation) in October rose by 2.1% compared with September, according to the Agency for Statistics under the President of Tajikistan.
The employees of financial intermediation (banks) receive the highest salary - 3 thousand 186 somoni ($ 338). The lowest salary was in the workers of agriculture and hunting - 541 somoni ($ 57).
According to the study of the Higher School of Economics (Russia), the lowest average monthly nominal wage among the CIS countries last year was in Tajikistan - $ 137.
