It is reported by the press service of the Civil Aviation Committee of the Ministry of Investment and Development of Kazakhstan.
“On December 14, Kazakhstani airline SCAT opens a new flight to Dushanbe from Astana. The flights to operate with a frequency of 2 times a week (5 and 7 days) on an aircraft of the CRJ-200 type”, the message reads.
Currently, regular flights between the countries are carried out by Tajik airlines Somon Air and Tajik Air on the route Dushanbe - Almaty - Dushanbe with a frequency of 3 and 2 flights per week, respectively.
Air Astana Airlines planes fly 5 times a week along the same route. Also, Air Astana is planning to start flights on the route Astana - Dushanbe - Astana with a frequency of 3 flights a week with the spring-summer navigation of 2019.
