On 3 December 2018, at 22:38 Moscow time, the crew members of Soyuz MS-11 manned transport vehicle passed on board the International Space Station (ISS).
Members of ISS Expedition 58, which includes Sergey Prokopyev (Roscosmos, Russia), Oleg Kononenko (Roscosmos, Russia), Serena Auñón-Chancellor (NASA, USA), Anne McClain (NASA, USA), Alexander Gerst (ESA, Germany) and David Saint-Jacques (CSA, Canada), began their joint work onboard the station.
The program of ISS Expedition 58 includes applied scientific research and experiments, implementation of scheduled tasks associated with the station’s maintenance and outfitting the station with equipment delivered by the cargo transports, as well as the EVA performance.
Soyuz-FG carrier rocket with Soyuz MS-11 manned transport vehicle that delivered the international crew to the ISS blasted off Baikonur Cosmodrome on 3 December 2018, at 14:31 Moscow time. Automatic docking was carried out at 20:33 Moscow time after the spacecraft approached the station using a four-loop program.
