The book of the poet and writer Olzhas Suleimenov "Az and I" was translated into Kyrgyz. This was reported by the press service of the Kazakh embassy in the Kyrgyz Republic.
On the eve of the Kazakh Embassy in Kyrgyzstan, the presentation of the book of the Kazakh poet and writer Olzhas Suleimenov “Az and I” took place. The book was published with the support of the embassy. Encyclopedist Izilya Rakhimova translated the book into Kyrgyz.
The book was presented on the eve of the 90th anniversary of the birth of the Kyrgyz writer Chingiz Aitmatov, whose work was highly appreciated by O. Suleimenov.
The ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Kazakhstan to Kyrgyzstan, Karim Kokrekbayev, noted that history is a powerful unifying factor of peoples, a source of inspiration for all citizens. “The publication of this book once again underlines the fraternal relations of the peoples of Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan,” the diplomat said.
The book is dedicated to written monuments of antiquity.
