Nursultan Nazarbayev signed a decree the year 2019 as the Year of Youth, reports the press service of the President.

"With a view to providing comprehensive support to young people, I decide:

1. To declare 2019 the Year of Youth.

2. The Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan to take the necessary measures to hold the Year of Youth.

3. Control over the implementation of this Decree to the Administration of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan," the message reads.

This Decree shall enter into force on the date of its signing.
