The World Mountain Forum-2018 will be held in Bishkek on October 23-26.
This is reported by the State Agency for Environmental Protection and Forestry under the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic, which is the organizer of the event in collaboration with the Aga Khan Foundation, FAO and UNICEF.
The purpose of the forum is to develop a scenario for the prosperous future of mountain regions and to identify possible ways and directions for achieving this goal.
The forum aims to build and strengthen partnerships beyond existing alliances to advance the Sustainable Mountain Development agenda, to develop strategic and innovative solutions to a more sustainable future of mountain regions.
