It is reported by the Minister for Investment and Development of Kazakhstan Zhenis Kasymbek at a government meeting.
“According to the data of local executive bodies, the following people are registered in need in the country: 38,114 people with disabilities 1 and 2; families with or raising children with disabilities - 18,639 people,” said J. Kasymbek.
Also, he noted that the number of citizens who received housing from the communal housing stock in the first half of 2018 in these categories was 258 people: they are disabled in groups 1 and 2 - 185 people; families with or raising children with disabilities - 73 people.
“This year, within the framework of the Nurly Zher program, we will build 3473 rental housing apartments for people on the waiting list, including categories for the disabled,” said the Minister.
