It is reported by the press service of the Tajik President.

"President Emomali Rahmon met with the Moldovan President Igor Dodon, who arrived in Dushanbe to participate in the CIS summit, in the National Palace of the Nation. During the meeting, the current state and prospects of relations between the two states were discussed," the message reads.

Also, E. Rahmon said that Tajikistan is interested in developing relations with Moldova. The sides discussed issues of interaction of states in the spheres of politics, economy and culture. During the consideration of the aspects of mutual trade, I.Dodon expressed his country's interest in the import of dried fruits and honey from Tajikistan.

The Presidents agreed to intensify the work of the intergovernmental commission of Tajikistan and Moldova on trade and economic cooperation.
