Expenditures of the state budget for 7 months of 2018 amounted to 6.2 trillion tenge, which is 18.8% less than a year earlier - 7.7 trillion tenge, finprom.kz reports.
Over the past 5 years, this is the first reduction in budget expenditures, with a significant 1.4 trillion tenge (year-to-year). On average, the state budget expenditures grew from year to year from 2013 to 12.7%.
The main amount allocated from the state budget was divided into five priority areas.
For social assistance and social security, 1.6 trillion tg (from a year earlier - 1.3 trillion tg) was allocated from the budget. To the needs of education - 1.1 trillion tg (a year earlier - 1.06 trillion tg). Expenditures on health care practically did not change - 658.1 billion (a year earlier - 652.5 billion tenge). Expenses for debt servicing amounted to 407.1 billion tenge, against 293.4 a year earlier. To maintain public order, security, legal, judicial and penal enforcement activities, the budget allocated 389.3 billion tenge (a year earlier - 345.7 billion tenge).
"Thus, the aggregate expenditures in these areas amounted to 4.1 trillion tg, or 67.6% of the total budgetary expenditure of the country," the study reads.
