The project worth $30 million was opened by Mirziyoyev and Lukashenko

The project worth $ 30 million was opened by the presidents of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, the press service of the Uzbek President reports.

Joint venture "Amkodor-Agrotechmash" was established on the territory of the Tashkent plant of agricultural machinery.

"The project worth $ 33 million will be implemented in 2018-2021. At the first stage, which is officially commissioned today, will produce construction and agricultural excavators of 12 types. The degree of localization will be brought to 22% in 2019 and at least 50% in 2021, the message reads.

Sh. Mirziyoyev said the need to expand the range and increase the level of localization of products. He stressed that Uzbekistan has a favourable location for the delivery of agricultural machinery to the countries of the region.
