During the visit, the President of Kazakhstan got acquainted with the work of the situation centre, which is a large data platform (Big Data) for effective city management. Integration of 10 city and national systems allows you to analyze information on the city traffic, the daily volume of passenger traffic in public transport, utilization of schools and kindergartens, the crime rate, and monitoring of budget execution.

In addition, Nursultan Nazarbayev saw a holographic layout of Almaty as a 3D projection with the possibility of scaling, imitation and modelling of various processes in the metropolis.

Following the visit to AlmatyGenPlan Research Institute LLP, the President has given a number of instructions for the city’s further development.
