The opening of the III World Nomad Games starts in Kyrgyzstan.

Nomad Games will be conducted in 37 sports disciplines, including 16 Kyrgyz national sports and 21 sports disciplines of other nomadic peoples. Among them there are 8 kinds of equestrian competitions for different distances, 13 variants of wrestling, 5 disciplines on shooting from a traditional bow, three intellectual competitions, and also competitions on national hunting with hounds and hunting birds.

The Games will be attended by about 2000 athletes from more than 60 countries.
