Prime Minister Bakytzhan Sagintayev, following the review of the implementation of the Roadmap for the formalization of self-employed, instructed to continue work on involving the informally employed population in the country's economy, reports the press service of Prime Minister.
"In general, the work to update the status of citizens and to involve the identified unemployed and unproductively self-employed population is in progress. This work needs to be continued and modernized. Our main task is to involve every citizen in employment," the Prime Minister said, instructing the akimats to step up work in this direction.
Bakytzhan Sagintayev noted that the presented new format for updating information on citizens through digitalization is correct and timely. In this connection, the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population together with the Ministry of Information and Communications was instructed to continue work on ensuring the introduction of new digitalization channels.
In addition, the Ministry of Labor needs to speed up work on the draft law on the formalization of employment.
Recall that as part of the implementation of the Roadmap for the formalization and involvement of informally employed people in the country's economy, the status of 1.385 million people has been updated in the state databases since the beginning of the year.
