The level of inflation in Kyrgyzstan since the beginning of the year was 0.8%, reports the National Statistical Committee of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Since the beginning of the year, consumer prices (deflation) have decreased by 0.8 percent in the whole republic, whereas in January-July 2017 the level of inflation in the consumer sector was 1.8 percent.
The largest increase in consumer prices and tariffs is observed in Naryn region (2.9 percent), which is mainly due to the increase in prices for food and non-alcoholic beverages (by 1.5 percent). In addition, the increase in consumer prices was noted in Osh (one percent) and Issyk-Kul (0.5 percent) areas.
