Spain intends to allocate to Uzbekistan 150 million euros of preferential loan funds for the implementation of joint projects, reports Podrobno. uz.

"We are now working with the Uzbek side on a memorandum on financial understanding, within which Uzbekistan is to provide 150 million euros of preferential credit for joint projects in infrastructure, agriculture and industry," said Spanish Ambassador to Uzbekistan Ignacio Ibáñez to.

Uzbekistan and Spain have sufficient opportunities to expand investment ties, increase the volume and range of mutual trade, which in January-July 2017 amounted to 71.5 million dollars. In the first five months of this year, mutual trade grew by 60%.
