Uzbek automaker GM Uzbekistan in July 2018 completes the production of Matiz cars at its facilities.

This decision is due to the "strategy for updating the model range, and the moral and technical obsolescence of this model."

"In this regard, registration of applications for contracts for the delivery of cars of this model is terminated. The company to ensure the fulfilment of its obligations to consumers and especially emphasizes that delivery of Matiz vehicles to final customers who have concluded contracts to perform in full and within the terms specified in the contracts", GM Uzbekistan reports.

Recall, manufacture Matiz started in August 2001 on Asaka automobile factory. The car became the fourth model, mastered for release in Uzbekistan.
