Uzbekistan and the EU to cooperate more actively in the development of tourism, the UzTAG reports.
On May 23, during a meeting with the delegation headed by the head of the working group of the EU Council for Eastern Europe and Central Asia, Jutta Edtofer, was held in the State Committee of Uzbekistan on tourism development.
"Deputy Chairman of the State Committee for Tourism of the Republic of Uzbekistan Sh. Sharakhmetov told European experts about the activities of the committee, as well as large-scale reforms in the field of tourism implemented in our country. Within the framework of this event, issues of further development of cooperation between Uzbekistan and the EU in the tourism sphere were also discussed," the message reads.
