The president of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev met the leading foreign experts- participants of the XI Astana economic forum, reports Akorda press service.

The parties have discussed the global tendencies of economic development and trade, transfer into "green" economy, use of alternative energy sources, development of transit-transport potentials of Kazakhstan and economy digitalization.

Having listened to the reports of the leading world experts, the President thanked the delegates for the ideas voiced at the round table and emphasized importance of their initiatives for further development of Kazakhstan.

“There is a Davos forum in Europe, there is Astana economic forum in Kazakhstan, there is Baoa Asian forum on the coast of the Pacific Ocean. They pursue one goal- search of the new ways. We want to cooperate with all the world forums and work for the benefit of states and people. It is important for the progress, promotion and understanding," he said.
