Uzbekistan to strengthen state control over product certification

In Uzbekistan, state control over certification of products to strengthen, UzTAG reports.

This is stipulated by the adopted by the deputies of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan in the second reading the draft law "On Amendments and Additions to the Code of Uzbekistan on Administrative Responsibility".

The draft law is designed to ensure effective state control over compliance with technical regulations, increasing the responsibility of certification bodies and accredited testing laboratories for violating the rules of product certification.

The law to serve to protect the rights of consumers and the state on the security of goods, processes, works and services, improve quality and competitiveness.
