Kyrgyz President Sooronbai Jeenbekov arrived in Brussels, Belgium to the institutions of the European Union on a working visit, reports the website of the President.
The purpose of the visit is to establish personal contacts with the leadership of the Institute of the European Union, to give political impetus to the negotiations on the draft of the new Agreement on Enhanced Partnership and Cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and the EU, launched on December 19, 2017.
Within the framework of the visit, it is planned to discuss the priority areas of cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and the EU, cooperation on the observance of human rights and freedoms, the rule of law, and the attraction of advanced European investments to priority sectors of development in Kyrgyzstan.
