Tajikistan temporary stopped imports of chicken eggs because of appearance on the market of non-certified products. It is about protecting the rights of consumers and preventing the entry of poor-quality goods into the country's food market, reports avesta.tj.
In recent years, small quantities of chicken eggs introduced into the country (mostly from Uzbekistan), reduced the cost of production in the country.
There were complaints from consumers about the quality and coloring of imported eggs. Now, the relevant public services study the problem of quality and sanitary safety of imported products.
"The fact is that on imported chicken eggs there is no manufacturer's stamp and the date of production, especially since this time of year the air temperature rises and this product needs special storage. The study of this issue will take some time, after an appropriate decision to accept" reports on the message.
