Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan reached mutual understanding in all key areas

Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan reached a high level of mutual understanding in all key areas, said Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev said, in Akorda during the ceremony of presenting credentials.

According to him, two countries are the fraternal states of Central Asia, which connect good-neighbourly relations.

"A trustful and constructive dialogue has been established between our countries, a high level of mutual understanding has been achieved in all key areas. President Gurbanuly visit to Astana in April 2017, my working visit to Ashgabat last September opened a new stage in the history of our bilateral relations in all fields " said the Kazakh President.

He also noted that the signing of historically important documents: a strategic partnership agreement, the agreement on the demarcation of the Kazakh-Turkmen state border brought bilateral cooperation on the level of quality.
