This was announced today by the Chairman of the State Revenue Committee Ministry of Finance Madi Tukeyev at a press conference in Astana. As stated by him, the tax on alcohol products of domestic producers is estimated at 45 million 921 thousand tenge.
These days, Kazakstan has introduced measuring and control devices for counteracting illicit production and counterfeiting of alcoholic beverages, oil products and ethyl alcohol. It will reduce the illegal turnover and increase the tax collection process. Today, this device is installed at 18 refineries and 48 factories producing alcohol.
