On April 6, 2018, between the E-Commerce Center of Kazakhstan's Ministry of Finance and representatives' IT industry of Hong Kong, agreements concluded on the exchange of experience and knowledge in the field of IT technologies, reports the press service of Kazakhstan’s Ministry of Finance.

The agreements reached within the framework of working meetings, held from 4 to 6 April, 2017 with the assistance of the Consulate General of Kazakhstan.

During the talks, the Kazakh delegation presented to the Hong Kong government and private entities the current activities and strategic tasks of the "E-commerce Center" JSC for the implementation of digitalization of the provision of public services of the Ministry. Successful projects were presented in the framework of informatization of the state financial system and its resources, as well as full automation of public procurement, accounting and taxation processes.

The Hong Kong colleagues evaluated the successes of Kazakhstan in the work on the direction of optimization of public services and their translation into electronic format.
