In recent years, the activity of international organizations in the religious sphere has become more active in Kyrgyzstan, reports OSCE office in Bishkek.

It is due to the heightened urgency of many issues in this area, both at the local and national levels.

''It is important to work on the rehabilitation of citizens, returning to their homeland'', said Director of the State Committee for Religious Affairs Zaiyrbek Ergeshov.

«Nowadays, more than 800 Kyrgyz citizens stay in conflict zones. Some of them got there not understanding the situation, others were recruited. This problem is especially urgent among the migrants, who go abroad to earn money» he noted.
