More than $ 5 billion will allocate for the garbage processing industry in Astana in 2018, Mayor of the city Asset Issekeshev said, at a meeting in the local government on the development of Astana 

"The investor has been recycled for the processing of garbage, which last year invested more than T1 billion to purchase 30 garbage trucks and 2 thousand containers. Two shops for the processing of plastic and paper were launched. In 2018, T5.2 billion will be allocated for the modernization of this sector" he said.

According to him, for the first time in the country, a system of separate collection of waste by the "wet" and "dry" fractions will introduce throughout the city.

"For this purpose, 25 garbage trucks and more than 6,000 containers for T1.8 billion will be purchased, which will be installed in all yards until September of this year," the Mayor specified.
