Kazakhstan and Tajikistan have simplified registration rules for their citizens in the two countries. From now on, citizens of both countries can stay in these countries for up to 90 days without registration not 30 days. During the visit of President of Tajikistan Emomali Rakhmon to Astana, the two leaders agreed.

On March 14, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon arrived in Astana on an official visit.

"Kazakhstan is a major export partner for Tajikistan. Tajikistan is our important trade partner. Last year, mutual trade turnover reached 80 million dollar. Increasing by 30% in a year. This is a very good indicator in the world economy", - the President Nursultan Nazarbayev noted at a joint press conference.

The Kazakh leader also mentioned about the air traffic between Astana and Dushanbe.

During the meeting, the Kazakh leader awarded his Tajik colleague with "Parasat" order. The heads of the two countries signed 11 documents.
