The American financial and consulting portal GOBankingRates gathered the top 50 countries, with the most favorable conditions for life. The rating is based on purchasing power, the prices of consumer goods, services, products, the cost of renting real estate. All data is compared with the indicators of New York.
The first three places were taken by India, Saudi Arabia and Pakistan, respectively. Hungary was the most disadvantaged country on the list. In total, the portal rated 115 countries.
Of the CIS countries, only Belarus (27th) and Kazakhstan ranked in the list, taking the 31st place, located between Syria and Albania. Last year Kazakhstan ranked fifth.
Life in Kazakhstan could include a stroll on any number of picturesque beaches. The cost of living is 66 percent lower than NYC. You can spend more time exploring when you pay 89 percent lower rent and 72 percent less for groceries.
