Chairman of the Agency for Civil Service and Anti-Corruption Alik Shpekbayev met with the Chargé d'affaires of Iraq in Kazakhstan Yunus Salim Sarhan Al-Shahman, reports the press service of the agency.

The Agency will consider the Iraqi request for the possibility of organizing training of their civil servants on the basis of the Academy of Public Administration under the President of Kazakhstan.

The training is aimed at the basics of public administration, the implementation of the Anti-Corruption Strategy, project management, leadership and strategic management. The initiative will be implemented within the framework of the memorandum, which is planned to be signed between the parties.

"Training of Iraqi colleagues in Kazakhstan will contribute to improving the quality of public administration in the international context by broadcasting Kazakhstan's experience in civil service professionalization," Shpekbayev said.

Salim Yunus thanked for the meeting of the chairman of the agency, expressing confidence in the construction of a professional state apparatus in two countries.

The parties expressed readiness for cohesive cooperation and fighting corruption.
