Payment scheme of Astana-Temirtau, Almaty-Kapshagayi and Almaty-Korgas sections within the "Nurly zhol" program might be launched in the second quarter of this year. This was announced by the Minister of Investment and Development of Kazakhstan, Zhenis Kassymbek at the government meeting.

"One of the main problems is to introduce a system of payment for roads of national importance. Within the framework of the "Nurly zhol" program, the construction and installation works are being conducted in the payment system of Astana-Temirtau, Almaty-Kapshagai and Almaty-Korgas sections. We are planning to launch the system in the second quarter of this year", - noted Zhenis Kassymbek.

As stated by the Minister, these projects are planned to be implemented through a mechanism of public-private partnership. In the second half of this year, a public-private partnership agreement will be signed, and it is planned to increase to 6,5 thousand kilometers of paid roads by 2020.
