In Kazakhstan the lowest prices for gasoline among the countries of Europe are established, but the rate of price increase is the highest, reports the "RIA Rating".
The research analyzed the situation on the European fuel market and made a rating of countries for gasoline prices in 2018. It included 33 countries, including Kazakhstan.
According to the rating, the price for gasoline AI-95 in Kazakhstan at the beginning of the year is 176 tenge. This is the lowest price among the countries represented in the rating. On the second place - Belarus (206.7 tenge), on the third - Russia (233 tenge). The highest prices for gasoline AI-95 are installed in the Netherlands (629 tenge).
In 2017, the price for AI-95 in Kazakhstan increased by 20.4%. This is the highest growth rate among the rating participants. In six European countries there was a decline in gasoline prices, in three they did not change.
According to statistics of the rating, diesel fuel in Kazakhstan costs 210 tenge, this is the second lowest indicator after Belarus (208 tenge). Over the year, the price of diesel fuel in Kazakhstan increased by 25.8%, and this is also the most significant price increase among European countries.
In October 2017, analysts noted that gasoline in Kazakhstan is becoming as expensive as it was in 2014. Prices for AI-92 grew particularly fast: in the 9 months of 2017 they increased by 9.4%. However, in 2016, prices rose by only 1.5%. A more significant level of growth was observed in 2014, when for 9 months the prices increased immediately by 11.4%.
