The Prosecutor General Kairat Kozhamzharov instructed to carry out checks on passenger traffic.
As stated by the press service of the General Prosecutor's Office, the transportation of passengers in Kazakhstan is carried out through vehicles with technical malfunctions and illegally modernized vehicles. These conditions influence negatively for the health of passengers and even cause death. In this regard, Prosecutor General Kairat Kozhamzharov instructed the prosecutor's office of transport and regional prosecutors to conduct inspections in this area.
Recall, on January 18, the bus burned in the Aktobe region. As a result of that incident, 52 people were killed and 5 injured. During the inspection defined that the bus did not pass two years of technical inspection and did not follow any safety rules.
