Kazakhstan launches more international flights in 2018, Civil Aviation Committee of the Ministry for Investments and Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan reports.
‘In 2018, Kazakhstan airlines plan to start regular flight destinations Astana - Tyumen, Astana - Krasnodar, Astana - Vilnius, Astana - Milan, Astana - Tomsk, Astana - Chelyabinsk, Astana - Sochi, Astana - Batumi, Astana - Dushanbe’, the statement says. Besides, in 2018 foreign airlines Air Baltic, Emirates, Fly Dubai, Aeroflot, Angara are planning to open regular flights in the directions Riga - Almaty, Dubai - Almaty, Dubai - Aktau, Moscow - Kyzylorda, Krasnoyarsk - Almaty. Also, the flight from Astana to Helsinki will be resumed by Finnair.
At the same time, 20 flights a week were added to the current 11 directions to Bishkek, Istanbul, Beijing, London, Seoul, Novosibirsk, Ekaterinburg, Omsk, St. Petersburg, Tashkent, Tbilisi.
Recall, in 2017, ten new international routes were launched, including by foreign carriers such as Finnair, LOT Polish Airlines, Wizz Air, Air China to Warsaw, Budapest, Helsinki, Beijing and Batumi and Kazakhstan airlines to destinations in Xi'an, Kiev, Mineral Waters, Yerevan, Delhi.
